Featuring slightly shorter sleeves this season, our contemporary hooded parka is crafted in 100% shearling with a nappa finish at the outer side.
A luxuriously silken Toscana trim appears at the hood and on the contoured cuffs, while a hardware-tipped drawcord helps you cinch it in at the waist. Zips at the sides offer further adjustability and the patched pockets have top and side entry options.
The fixed hood provides optional extra coverage to keep out the wind and rain.

Care
All of our shearing outerwear garments are specialist dry clean only. They are pre-treated to resist marks and stains before they leave us, however, over time you may wish to reapply this treatment at home, and this can be done by using a high-quality protector spray, on the suede/leather side of your garment. Please ensure that you follow the instructions on the can and hold the product at the required distance so that the liquid cannot run down the garment. If your shearling outerwear does become marked, it can be easily sponged and brushed, but for a complete clean, please send it to a specialist dry cleaner.

Just received my Derby Grey hooded parka, which I ordered yesterday. It arrived carefully packaged. It is the most beautiful bit of clothing I think I shall ever own!! Its softness amazed me, both inside and out also the tailoring. Its fit is perfect to size, with extra room for winter clothing. My only suggestion is that hidden press studs alongside the zip may help for quick fastening... Thank you all at Celtic and Co
Had wanted something casual yet luxurious. Consequently was really looking forward to this arriving. However the fit is decidedly odd. The drawstring ‘waist’ is up under the bust and I’m pretty short in the body. It therefore feels incredibly uncomfortable and the jacket looks out of balance. The fur trim around the hood also looks synthetic - perhaps because it’s quite a thin strip (although I presume it isn’t). So not for me I’m afraid. Shame.

Beautiful top class coat. Two criticisms : 1 I agree with previous reviewers with regard o sleeves which are far too long and difficult to alter . 2 was disappointed to find that the actual leather was not navy blue, but black . Having said this, 1 Give it 9.5/10

It’s a beautiful coat - incredibly soft and very comfortable. It comes up a bit big, but plenty of room for winter jumpers underneath. Two things stopped me giving it five stars: a) the sleeves are ridiculously long but, whilst it is a nice design feature, the way the cuff has been done makes it look odd folded back and it would be difficult to shorten; and b) for the price it should have had a two-way zip or, if that wouldn’t work, snap fasteners as well so that it can be partially closed. But I still love it and expect to wear it a lot
