We've cropped the length of our standard boot to bring you a pared-back pair that goes with everything. The shortie version of our classic boot epitomises style, resilience and cosiness with its 100% shearling construction, cloud-soft inner, double-stitched seams and leather bound edges.
Each boot sits on a tonal rubber sole that delivers a springy feeling underfoot with traction that'll stand the test of time. And the shape of your boot is crafted to last too, with a shaved-shearling heel back protecting the silhouette.

Made with 100% Sheepskin: There's a reason why we use sheepskin so much. This incredible material balances form with function, offering a chic look with lightweight insulation in the winter and temperature regulation when the warmer months roll around.

Please be aware that as sheepskin is a natural product, variances within the colour and texture of these products is to be expected.
Size & Fit
When trying on your footwear for the first time, it may feel very tight across your toes and instep. This is nothing to worry about, as within an hour or so of wearing, the boots or slippers will loosen off as the wool starts to bed down and mould to your feet. So do not order a size bigger than you usually wear, otherwise they will end up too big for you. If you know you are a half size – then we recommend buying the size down unless you regularly buy up a half size.
Care
30 Degree Gentle Machine Wash
Put the boots in a pillowcase to avoid drum marks from the washing machine. Machine wash on a 30 degree wool cycle with Celtic Wool Wash. This is the only wool wash that has been tried and tested over many years on our sheepskin footwear, so while others are available we can’t be sure that you will get the same results if you use them.

Took the plunge and ordered the shorter version of the sheepskin boots. As a family, we now have seven pairs in various heights and colours and they are always perfect. Some pairs I have had for many years and have sent two back to be resoled. They came back like new. I love the fact that they are renewable and British made. They last far longer than any other brand and never collapse around the heel. From beach walking to withstanding -25c windchill at the top of Mount Washington, these will keep your feet warm in the cold, yet not sweaty in the warm. Can’t recommend highly enough.
This is my 3rd pair of boots purchased however, these came up a little smaller on my feet this time OR my feet have grown!! The size 6 felt too cozy which is odd, as all my other boots are size 6. I sadly had to return these.
This is the 3rd pair of shortie boots I’ve bought and I am never disappointed. I wear them everyday day all your round, yes even in the summer( not that we had one last year) I’ve had many other styles as well of the boots, the aqua lamb mid calf will be my next replacement, perfect for nipping up the lane with the dog. CelticCo never let me down
I am unhappy to find that you no longer sell sheepskin boots with a finished top in a size 10. It’s bad enough being a woman with big feet because your range of footwear is so limited but now I can’t even find the quality that I want. Wearing boots with the sheepskin exposed around the top is not practical in wet or snowy weather. Please will you increase your women’s sizes to 10?

I’ve had several pairs of Celtic boots in the past but I haven’t had short ones and I absolutely love them! They’re very smart and very cosy! Delighted with the purchase, I think I’ll have another colour next year! Also, very quick delivery, I got them 2 or 3 days after I ordered them

I bought these shortie boots for my daughter. She already had a pair in black and loved them so much she wanted another pair in Mocca. Her friend tried them on and she also bought a pair.
I love these so much. I got them for Christmas 2020 and they've barely been off my feet since. They are cosy and warm in winter and surprisingly cool in summer. Really well made and they wash pretty well too and are only just beginning to lose support but I'll definitely buy a new pair when these eventually give up!
Good fit of size 4 (I usually wear a size 4.5 shoe)but my heels still lift up out of the shoe when walking. (Not as much as the size above : size 5) I wonder if this is due to the shape of the boot? Maybe if a closer fit with a zip to the side would be a better design? Just a thought. But very warm and toasty- at last I can cope with winter!
