Material
Mako is a very fine, premium yarn spun from long-staple Egyptian cotton fibres. Strength, smoothness and breathability are among its many benefits, and when blended with alpaca wool it takes on a soft, fluffy handle and delivers luxurious warmth. The fibres are undyed, which means no harsh chemicals are used and the environmental impact is minimised – it also means this yarn is ideal for anyone with sensitive skin.

Care
Hand wash only in cold water using Celtic Wool Wash. For more detailed instructions please see the care label.
When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool. Do not use fabric conditioner when washing.
To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle.
Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments. Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.

It is so lovely and very soft- doesn’t irritate my reactive skin at all. It is short but again I knew that from the reviews but have tried it with skinny, flare and wide trousers and it looks good with all of them. Very pleased

One of the warmest snuggliest sweaters ever. Please please could do it in other colours principally a navy one .
I'm 5' 4'', ordered a small size & the jumper comes to just below my lower waist. Nothing like the jumper the model is wearing. It is not made as a long jumper. Very misleading. But still, a beautiful jumper & very light & very warm & cosy in appearance. So I have kept it & love it.
Mine came today. I had an alpaca jumper I bought in Peru some 45 years ago which I absolutely loved, wore it to death. Two years ago I was on a bus tour in Peru and didnt go into a touristy shop at which we stopped, mistake, as the bus left another passenger showed off a beautiful hairy alpaca sweater she had bought in the shop. Now at last I have my own again. It is beautiful, hairy and soft, lovely colour, size and fit, thank you, thank you, Celtic
