We’ve added a double layer, modest cowl neckline that’ll keep you incredibly cosy, plus long raglan sleeves. This item is great for layering under jumpers, cardigans, knits and woven dresses, or worn as a standalone piece.

Material
The cotton blended with wool gives a slightly melange, hairy appearance and results in a lovely fine jersey with a beautiful drape and handle. Fibres are spun, knitted into fabric and made into garments in Portugal.

Write a reviewAs ever with Celtic, lovely quality and very snug to wear. It’s quite a generous cowl neck and lies well over a cardigan or crew neck pullover. After much hesitation about the best size, I bought both the claret and the chalk in 10, and when they arrived, wished I’d bought 8s. I’ve been able to change the claret (chalk no longer in stock) and, although there’s only a little difference, it fits more appropriately for what is essentially a layering garment. Celtic always come up roomy on me, so probably should have known. I’d wear the claret on its own, although not the chalk as I don’t like too much plain off-white on me.
