Care
Washing Instructions
Hand Wash only
When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool. Do not use fabric conditioner when washing. To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle. Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments. Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.
Care & Cleaning Products
Pilling
Clothing made from natural fibres can occasionally 'pill'. These little balls of fibre or 'pills' are created as the smaller fibres in the twist of yarn naturally shed with wear. This will lessen as you wash and wear your garment. Until then, they can be gently removed with our Pilling Comb.

Ratings & reviews
Write a reviewWhen I received the jumper as a gift I was very happy. I loved the design and the feel of the wool was lovely and soft. It was a more relaxed fit than I am accustomed to for a medium but I was happy with the extra room. However after a few hours wear the length of the jumper increased by about 5inches and it began to look more like an XL than a medium. I washed it after every wear at 20 degrees without any detergent and dried it flat and it regained some of its original shape but it would stretch out again after a few hours wear and just look ridiculous. In the end I tried a 30 degree wash and then it came out feeling like boiled wool, it had lost its softness and now fits like a small. so after wearing a handful of times and more time spent washing than wearing I now have a £145 jumper I can't wear. I have bought many wool jumpers from other companies and whilst there has been some degree of stretching and shrinkage, never anything like this. I love wearing wool and had high hopes for this jumper but it's actually put me off buying wool again.

We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the fit of this jumper, we do offer a free returns policy and had this been returned a refund could have been issued and then a smaller size ordered. We do recommend hand washing only as the machine wash cycle will cause wool to shrink. Kind regards Celtic & Co.
