Washing Instructions
Hand Wash only
When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool. Do not use fabric conditioner when washing. To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle. Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments. Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.

Pilling
Clothing made from natural fibres can occasionally 'pill'. These little balls of fibre or 'pills' are created as the smaller fibres in the twist of yarn naturally shed with wear. This will lessen as you wash and wear your garment. Until then, they can be gently removed with our Pilling Comb.

After last winter, I wanted a warm, robust cardigan that would look good after lots of daily wear. An investment cardigan, if you will! This mostly fits the bill but it's not quite there. Agree with other reviewers about the rather stretchy knit, and the too-long length (chest size is fine). I'm 5'10" and it's mid-thigh on me, which feels strange, though nice to have cosy sleeves for once. Most of all, the buttons. As happened to someone else, one button pinged off immediately - I'd barely worn the thing five seconds! The rest are very insecure and I'll have to reinforce them with darning wool. So a bit of a disappointing start but overall a nice garment. Possibly handwashing it in hot water will shrink the fibres a little and make it less stretchy.

It is far too big. As advised, I downsized from medium to small but it's still enormous. The knitting is pretty slack and it relaxed with wear and wash and so what was a very generous fit became even larger. It's now down to my knees, I cannot reach the pockets and the sleeves are about 6 inches too long. Should have bought extra small.
This was lovely but massive. I am a UK 14 and ordered a size large and it was way too big so sadly returned

Had mine for five years now and have worn it constantly and it still looks good with very little sign of wear or bobbling. Enough said!
My second one in different colour. Love this cardigan so much. For me it is warm and cosy combined with only a T Shirt.
I had high hopes for this cardigan, bought online in UK and brought here to Norway in December as a gift for my daughter in law. She liked it very much, but two of the buttons fell off on the first outing. They were lost in the snow; the remaining four fell off as we inspected them. I photographed the stitching; they are attached with one single stitch with many threads in the needle (approximately 8) and not secured efficiently. This is a -totally- unsatisfactory method of finishing a garment. Such leather buttons are very difficult to find here in Oslo. Please advise what I shall do.
