Ours is cut to a slouchy silhouette in a blend of alpaca and merino wool for a lofty, fluffy finish that's super soft to the touch. With a cast-off technique giving the neckline a clean edge, it's trimmed with ribbing to help it hold its shape over time.
We've sourced this fine yarn from an Italian spinner that holds RWS (Recycled Wool Standard) and 4Sustainability accreditations for a more responsible approach.

Made from 50% Alpaca and 50% Merino: With an equal balance of South American alpaca fleece and Australasian merino wool, this brand new yarn packs acres of benefits into its super-soft, slightly lofty fibres.
The merino content is perfect for trapping little pockets of air close to the skin, keeping you cool when it's hot and vice versa, while the alpaca fleece boasts inherent odour-resistant and hypoallergenic qualities to help you stay feeling fresh all day long.
The yarn has been expertly spun in Italy by a supplier who holds a host of responsibility standards for a reduced impact on our planet.

Care
Washing Instructions
Hand Wash only
When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool. Do not use fabric conditioner when washing. To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle. Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments. Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.
Care & Cleaning Products
Pilling
Clothing made from natural fibres can occasionally 'pill'. These little balls of fibre or 'pills' are created as the smaller fibres in the twist of yarn naturally shed with wear. This will lessen as you wash and wear your garment. Until then, they can be gently removed with our Pilling Comb.

Write a reviewVery disappointed in the feel of this sweater. I was expecting soft and cosy (I’ve had this mix before), but it feels far more coarse and I couldn’t wear this next to my skin. I’m debating whether to return it (I may have been unlucky with the batch of wool used), and reorder later in the hope of a softer sweater being supplied.

Ordered primarily for the gorgeous colour - it's difficult to find wool jumpers in brighter colours. The colour illustrated on the model sitting outside is pretty accurate whereas the photos taken in a studio are not. I love the V neck as I'm large busted which rules out the high/crew neck jumpers. I'm an averagely proportioned 5'5' woman around a size 12 (sometimes a 10 or 14) but the sleeves did come up a bit short which was a surprise as I rarely ever have this issue. But the biggest peeve is the seam on the sides of the jumper above the cuff that sits on the hips. They're so thick/stiff that it sticks out which is not flattering and stops the jumper draping nicely which you need in a slouch design. I've just received an XS to see if it's any better and it's very slightly better but now trying to balance up how likely I am to wear it if the seams affect the drape with the cost but the fact that it's a lovely colour that I find difficult to source. I often pull sleeves up so the shorter sleeve problem could be mitigated. Bit disappointed and undecided at this point.

I never thought I would give a Celtic garment anything less than 5 stars, but I am bitterly disappointed with this jumper. I find it stretches out of shape in no time, eg from sitting in the car and, worse, it creases. After a single wearing, I have to wash it to try to regain a little shape, but most of the time it looks like a very sad cast off. Such a waste of money. I am also hesitant about buying from Celtic again.

I ordered the medium and normally I am a 10/12. It is generous but that is the style. It is a beautiful jumper and so warm.
Perfect in every way - looks exact as the photos are. I ordered a medium which it feels it is ((I’m a 10/12 but I wanted it roomy). The label inside the sweater say a size S. So a bit confusing. Beautifully soft and cosy. I wish it came in more colours.
Lovely colour and style, but I’m Returning as it’s too big and baggy. I need an XS instead

Just as lovely as other knitwear I have from Celtic. Timeless, unfussy - will last a long time and never date. Super soft alpaca and merino - light to wear but will be warm for cooler evenings and days. A beautiful colour.
