This is a super sheepskin wash which rescued a couple of pairs of rather old slippers. I had washed them using Celtic's previous woolwash, and the slippers had come out smelling distinctly unpleasant. A second wash didn't help. I really didn't want to waste bootees and mules that still had lots of life in them, so I consulted Celtic's customer service. They suspected my ancient bottle of wash had expired and very kindly sent me this new product. Success! Two pairs of slippers restored. I'm very grateful to Lily for her kind help, and Celtic & Co for their environmentally sound approach.

I absolutely live in Celtic Sheepskin boots and (in some people's eyes - ahem) have a ridiculous amount of them. One of my very favourite companies selling really excellent products. I can't, however, say the same for this titchy bottle of wool wash. Over the years, the bottle has shrunk exponentially and the price has increased. This is a palpable disappointment. You can do better than this - truly. I really don't like to express a complaint towards such a normally fab company, but I'm afraid this one is justified. I won't be buying your wool wash again, sadly. :(

Good afternoon and thank you for leaving a review. Our 125ml wool wash has been the same quantity for a number of years now, at least eight we believe. We have changed the bottle to aluminium which does look smaller but the volume remains the same. The price has unfortunately increased with inflation and we understand this can be frustrating for the customer. If you have any further queries do not hesitate to contact us. The best wool wash I've ever used. It's kind to the garment and doesn't leave any residue. It is a little on the expensive side.

Washed my boots with wool wash and they've come out clean. Packaging of this product however is unreliable as my first delivery arrived empty. The second was delivered in the same packaging and you can see the bottle without opening it. The postman also took a photo giving me the package which doesn't show anything as it looked exactly the same the first time around.... But no bottle.

Washed our shearling slippers with it in the washer, on 'delicate'. They came out looking nice. A few cooking grease spots on the toe of a light-coloured one remained. So don't wear light-coloured shearling slippers when stir-frying.

The wool wash is excellent - lovely scent.

I was surprised how small the bottle is considering the cost compared to wool wash from the supermarket. However it says there is enough to wash 2 pullovers at least 6 times. I hope so!!

I used to use the original wash for my slippers - perfect. The new variety is not as good in dispelling foot odour and certainly doesn't wash as well.

This Wool Wash smells really nice ,hope Celtic & Co. will introduce a larger size in the future.
