Care
Washing Instructions
Hand Wash only
When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool. Do not use fabric conditioner when washing. To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle. Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments. Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.
Care & Cleaning Products
Pilling
Clothing made from natural fibres can occasionally 'pill'. These little balls of fibre or 'pills' are created as the smaller fibres in the twist of yarn naturally shed with wear. This will lessen as you wash and wear your garment. Until then, they can be gently removed with our Pilling Comb.

Ratings & reviews
Write a reviewThis the second jumper in this style that I have purchased. The first one was a couple of years ago and was of much better quality. The one I have recently bought is much thinner without the weight the other one had. I am a bit disappointed as it is quite expensive.
I love this sweater!
It was helpful to know the size of the model in the photo and the size she was wearing - I also wanted a loose fit. It is great!
I had admired this jumper for such a long time and eventually bought the grey on sale. It looks beautiful, the colours are gorgeous and I love the sizing of it; it's loose and sits softly. I find the wool to be a little scratchy however and I do find Celtic and Co pricing expensive, and some products less robust than I would like. But I am overall pleased with this jumper and will care for it carefully to get years of wear.
Bought a medium (am a size 14) and am very happy with the fit. I was worried it would be too small/tight but it's perfect. Have been wearing it to work in my garden cabin in cold temperatures and it's keeping me beautifully warm! Love it and well worth the investment.
Following recommendations from other reviewers I bought this in the L (I'm a 16/18) dark blue and it fitted perfectly. I needed something warm in natural fibres for winter and this fits the bill; it's warm, the long length I like, and I am particularly impressed by the tight cuffs which prevent draughts going up my sleeves. I haven't washed it yet and can't comment on how it will wear in the long run but am pleased so far.
I bought the Donegal in small oatmeal. I'm typically a size 10 5'3". It was way too big and I found the oatmeal a little see through. Swapped it for an extra small in vintage blue which I'm really pleased with.
Really beautiful style, very warm, excellent quality and fabulous colours. So good I bought 2 in different colours. There is a fantastic range of colours and patterns to suit everyone. Very reasonably priced given the quality and in comparison, with similar products.
My go to jumper for autumn/winter. Needs a long sleeved t shirt under it for me.
I have the navy version, (medium), very happy with the colours and feel, which is light and loosely knit. It is roomy in size with long sleeves which I fold (roll up) slightly, which still looks perfect. Very pleased with the length as I am 5’10 and long in the body. Have had compliments on it as a very ‘pretty’ jumper. Worth it for the quality. Am pondering whether to also go for the oatmeal version! That says it all.
