Material
Made with 100% Sheepskin: There's a reason why we use sheepskin so much. This incredible material balances form with function, offering a chic look with lightweight insulation in the winter and temperature regulation when the warmer months roll around.
For these reasons and many more, we guarantee you'll be turning to this stylish investment time after time!
Please be aware that as sheepskin is a natural product, variances within the colour and texture of these products is to be expected.
Size & Fit
When trying on your footwear for the first time, it may feel very tight across your toes and instep. This is nothing to worry about, as within an hour or so of wearing, the boots or slippers will loosen off as the wool starts to bed down and mould to your feet. So do not order a size bigger than you usually wear, otherwise they will end up too big for you. If you know you are a half size – then we recommend buying the size down unless you regularly buy up a half size.
Care
30 Degree Gentle Machine Wash
Put the boots in a pillowcase to avoid drum marks from the washing machine. Machine wash on a 30 degree wool cycle with Celtic Wool Wash. This is the only wool wash that has been tried and tested over many years on our sheepskin footwear, so while others are available we can’t be sure that you will get the same results if you use them.
Ratings & reviews
Write a reviewWore my mid calf boots with very short shorts in Fuerteventura and the kept me cool adore Cornwall and this company ROCKS !!!
Lovely boots. Very comfortable.
I bought a pair of these gorgeous boots in 2006 and they are still going strong in 2024, eighteen year later! I have worn them every year from as soon as it turns cold in the autumn until the warmer weather in late spring. They machine wash brilliantly (I bought a pale stone colour way that was available back in 2006) and they are so comfortable and warm. I don't wear any socks with them and pretty much wear them every day so I can highly recommend them!

Thank you for leaving a review. They have certainly lasted you well, that is great to read. I hope they continue keeping your feet warm for a few more cold seasons. Kind regards, Celtic & Co.
After buying the boot slippers, I was tempted to buy these outdoor boots too. I have not been disappointed and so far, because of the weather, my feet have been so warm and cosy.
Bought as a Christmas present, they look very nice
Delighted with these boots ! I ordered my usual size 6 at first and felt they were too big , so I sized down to a size 5 and they are perfect They are so incredibly comfortable . My feet and legs are just cushioned in a woolly softness , that never gets too hot but remains constantly at just the right temperature . I can’t recommend them enough , quality purchase , and worth every penny , trust me . Thank you Celtic and co !
Swift delivery as usual. I love these boots - they are my third pair. I bought my first pair years ago and wear them A LOT, they can take it. Much admired.
I love these boots! I’ve long wanted this style of boot but was worried about them ethically but to find some that are made in the UK, re-soleable and support UK agriculture this works for me. As boots they are just what I needed warm enough to wear to the pool or yoga without socks on. Easy to get on or off. They look pretty good too. Sure they will be firm favourites for a few years to come.
These Celtic boots are absolutely fantastic! As it says in the description they feel very snug when first worn but they really do ease after a few hours of wear and are true to size. My feet and ankles are toasty warm but not sweaty and the boots look stylish with a pair of skinny jeans. Whats not to love!
I really love my Celtic boots, they are very comfortable to wear and stylish without looking clumpy...I bought the calf boots in Spice to wear with jeans and they look great. Would be nice to see them Mink or Taupe as well!
