This minimal take on our waxed jacket delivers a clean, classic style. The cosy quilted lining features a layer of traceable British wool, adding extra warmth for autumn and winter. HD® Wool’s Evolve Active Insulations are made from fully traceable, washable British wool specifically designed to replace polyester wadding.
Details include a curved hem and yoke panel at the back, a contrast cord collar, popper fastening down the front and adjustable cuff straps. We’ve added broad welt pockets and an internal patch pocket for practicality, making this the perfect all-day over-layer.

Material
Waxed cotton is a durable, long-lasting fabric that has been infused with a blend of waxes and oils. Our wax cottons have a traditional waxy handle finish, crafted to help protect you against the elements. The material is naturally breathable that adjusts to the ambient temperature, so it gets softer and more breathable in warm weather and stiffer and more wind resistant in cold conditions.

The care instructions for our waxed cotton coats vary between styles, so please check the care label of your garment for specific instructions. Styles which are sponge clean only should be brushed to remove any dirt or grit, then sponged down with cold water.

Write a reviewI've ordered size 8 that I usually wear AUS 6-8. But size came up little small and tight. Sadly returned it back to UK. Quality was great. Definitely will order bigger size again.
I'm extremely surprised that the previous review states that the jacket runs large. I am usually a size 12-14, and had to send the 14 back as it was tight enough to restrict the movement of my arms, with pulling across the back shoulders. A very sad return, as the jacket is otherwise perfect in every way - superb quality and excellent detailing
