Washing Instructions
Hand Wash only
When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool. Do not use fabric conditioner when washing. To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle. Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments. Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.
Care & Cleaning Products
Pilling
Clothing made from natural fibres can occasionally 'pill'. These little balls of fibre or 'pills' are created as the smaller fibres in the twist of yarn naturally shed with wear. This will lessen as you wash and wear your garment. Until then, they can be gently removed with our Pilling Comb.

I recently bought this jumper in Navy from John Lewis. I loved it so much, I then ordered it in black from Celtic directly. It is so soft, and beautiful quality. I love the deep V neck, very flattering and the long ribbed cuffs and welt. It does fit big, but that worked for me as I wanted a sloppy joe style sweater. It is very light, warm and definitely not itchy. It’s kind of like a hug in a jumper. I really recommend buying this.
Love, love, love this jumper. It is supersoft, the perfect length and colour (navy tipped). I have been looking for a lightweight jumper to get me through the transitional weather. Success!!! I dont know if I will ever take this off. I might even sleep in it.
Lovely jumper but note, as per description on website, the V-neck is wide so may need light T-shirt or similar underneath for winter wear but will be fabulous for summer evenings.
Soft and smooth. Just what I love.
Have gone down a size (though a bit too late for the older 2 of my 4 jumpers), from XL to L being a curvy size 16-18, at 5'5" and the fit is much better. The jumpers are very soft, very warm and have a lovely deep V neck but they are long so be warned if you're not that tall! They wash well too but unfortunately like so much of today's knitwear, they bobble fairly quickly too which is really disappointing particularly at this price. That said, I still love them!

With regards to pilling/bobbling, pilling is not a sign of poor quality and is to be expected in places where two pieces of fabric rub together, such as under the arms. Pilling occurs more commonly in natural fibres and where they have not been chemically treated to prevent it and regular de-pilling using an electric de-fuzzer will help to prevent this and help maintain the garment looking its best. I bought the damson tipped and I’m in love with it. It fits so nicely, and you can’t see any lines from a cami top underneath. I’ve had lots of compliments on this jumper. I haven’t washed it yet so can’t comment on that yet. Please make it in some more colours, a beautiful rich emerald green or forest green. I’d love to order this in more colours but the current range isn’t very exciting.
This is a really good true shade of navy, nothing grey about it. Very soft considering only a little cashmere content but also little pricey. However I allow for that as made in UK. It is not heavyweight, nor so fine as to be thin or see through. Cannot comment on how it washes, but it will get the cool machine handwash treatment that my Celtic lambswool cardi and other pure cashmeres handle perfectly well so I will unimpressed if this is not the same. I am a full busted size 10 (28GG) 5ft 9tall and bought an XS after trying med and small. The XS is plenty long enough in the body and sleeve, and still loose in the body if a little less so under arms. But most importantly for me still a beautifully deep neckline - wear with or without a cami! It's great to be able to write a good review, and I love this jumper so much I am trying to justify ordering a charcoal one when back in stock....😉
Not worn yet but seems a good fit, nice and long and just roomy enough for spring on its own or with thinner a shirt underneath. Looking forward to wearing it.
Love, love, love this jumper. I live in Hong Kong, where we don‘t need sweaters often, and I‘d told myself not to buy anything else but when I saw that this was the last size small in the colour, and your model looked just like me (at a pinch) I had to have it. It is absolutely charcoal grey and a boyfriendy fit for my 8-10 “ample” bust frame without being too slouchy, if that helps anyone. It’s not quite as soft as cashmere, but wonderful for everyday, cosseting luxuriance.
