Care
All of our shearing outerwear garments are specialist dry clean only. They are pre-treated to resist marks and stains before they leave us, however, over time you may wish to reapply this treatment at home, and this can be done by using a high-quality protector spray, on the suede/leather side of your garment. Please ensure that you follow the instructions on the can and hold the product at the required distance so that the liquid cannot run down the garment. If your shearling outerwear does become marked, it can be easily sponged and brushed, but for a complete clean, please send it to a specialist dry cleaner.

Write a reviewA beautiful cosy coat which is actually quite lightweight despite appearances. I looked at it for quite a long time before purchasing it but I am so glad that I did. It's a perfect winter coat. Lovely quality and I bought a small size when I normally would buy a medium. It is perfect so be aware that it is big on size.
The coat is very warm and cosy. My complaint relates to the buttons that attach the hood to the coat. Two buttons have dropped off and a third is about to. I have had to reattach them myself using special thread and adding an additional button on the inside. It has not been an easy task. Celtic were not forthcoming at all when I contacted them. I was disappointed and wondered how many other customers had experienced this. I felt that for the price of the coat the workmanship in attaching the hood should have been thought through better than it is.

3rd coat I ve purchased and love them all
Absolutely gorgeous coat and was exactly what I expected - a lovely soft taupe colour and squidgy leather. I bought a size down after reading reviews. I’m usually M-L depending. Fitted great but snug ie no thick sweater would fit underneath. But then you don’t really need a thick sweater under a sheepskin coat do you? What I didn’t like was that it has a zip as well as toggles. I expected toggles as it’s a duffle coat. I had missed the zip Mentioned in description. I felt it was unnecessary and in any case I could not zip it up without help from my husband . Too expensive to put up with the unnecessary zip so it had to be returned. The detachable hood was a plus point as I’m not keen on hoods. Hope this helps.
I’ve just realised that I seem to have missed reviewing the duffel coat I bought circa 2011! It is still treasured, yet practical. The newer versions look very similar. My purchase was tan sheepskin with a grey inner and I thought it’d keep me warm when all else failed! I have only worn it a few times in extreme cold, but when clad in this, I’m warm. My ‘old’ coat is pretty heavy compared with puffa coats, but I much prefer the natural warmth. Thankfully, the moth which has eaten most of my carpets seems to have avoided my lovely sheepskin (thus far 🤞).
I'm a US size 2 - 4 and 5'2". The XS is slightly too big but I'm keeping it anyway. It still looks nice on. The length falls just at the top of my knees which is good, otherwise it would have been returned. It's a wonderful coat.
A sumptuous coat which felt really cosy and warm. However, I have had to return this as, despite ordering an Extra Small size, unfortunately, it was far too big. Had it fitted I would have been delighted to have kept it.

Love this beautiful duffle coat. It is very stylish but casual you can where anywhere. Very warm and cosy. Expensive but should last a lifetime. Size Medium was perfect for me a size 12-14
