With a slight chill in the air, it’s little wonder that we’re thinking about retrieving our winter clothes from the back of the wardrobe and snuggling up indoors.
Winter is our favourite time of the year here at Celtic & Co., however as the beaches are less crowded, the Cribbar wave is appearing in full force, and most importantly, the Cornish storms have started to batter our rugged coastline.
All of this signifies the start of storm watching season, and to celebrate, we’ve teamed up with luxury five star hotel The Headland to bring one lucky winner the ultimate storm watching prize; a three-night storm chasing break at The Headland, and a winter wardrobe to match.
The winner will have £250 to spend on winter clothing & footwear here at Celtic & Co. and will experience the magic of the spellbinding Cornish storms as part of a three night break for two people in The Headland’s five star, clifftop hotel overlooking Fistral Beach.

Staying in one of the sumptuous hotel rooms, the winner will enjoy The Headland’s five star facilities, all before snuggling up by the lounge fire, sipping a coffee or cocktail, with floor to ceiling views of the Cornish storms crashing against the coastline.
Those feeling particularly brave can venture on to the South West Coast Path, to feel the salty spray splashing overhead, and try to spot the famous Cribbar wave, which often shrouds Fistral Beach at over 30 feet.
During their stay, the winner and their guest can take advantage of the hotel’s facilities, which include the double AA rosette awarded Samphire restaurant and the more relaxed Terrace. Our surf school offers surf, SUP and coasteering lessons; and our award-winning spa offers a range of luxurious treatments, as well as a Cornish salt steam room, Swedish sauna, hydrotherapy pool, and aromatherapy showers.

Terms and conditions
The competition is only open to those aged 18 and over. The Headland assumes that by entering the competition you have the legal capacity to do so and agree to these terms and conditions.
How to enter
Fill out the form above for a chance to win the prize. All entries received by 11.59pm on Sunday 3 November will be automatically entered into the prize draw. The winner will be chosen and contacted via the phone number or email address provided on the form. If the prize winner is not contactable, or they fail to respond to our notification within the time stated on our reply, they will lose their entitlement to the prize, which will then be awarded to the next eligible entrant.
The prize
The prize includes a three night bed and breakfast break for two people in an Ocean room at The Headland Hotel. The prize can be taken between 4 November 2019 and 31 March 2020. Breaks between 23rd December 2019 and 3rd January 2020 are excluded. The break includes breakfast on all three mornings. All extras, including additional meals to breakfast, spa treatments, and lessons at the Surf Sanctuary must be paid for. Access to the spa’s leisure area is included.
The prize also includes a £250 voucher for Celtic & Co, which can be used online, in-store, or over the phone. The voucher must be used with a year of date of issue. The voucher will be sent directly to the winner.
The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered. Both The Headland Hotel and Celtic & Co. reserve the right to substitute the prizes for another of equal or greater value should the need arise.
