Care
Can be hand washed in cold water using Celtic Wool Wash, or machine washed at a gentle 30 degree spin. For more detailed instructions please see care label.
When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool. Do not use fabric conditioner when washing.
To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle.
Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments. Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.

Lovely socks, but I had two pairs last year that only lasted about 8-10 wearings each before one of each pair had a large hole in the heel (one right and one left). At $4.99+ a wear they're very expensive

These are truly fabulous socks and they cuddle your feet perfectly. Love the colours (grey and gorse) and delighted to find merino socks made in Wales.
I bought these in the lovely sage colour (purchased online from Next) and now plan to get more (both for myself and now also my son after he saw them and decided they seem really soft and warm). I only wore them for the first time yesterday, but they kept my toes a nice temperature, when 100% cotton would have made them cold. I'm a size 7 and the large fits me perfectly. With a good, high wool content I knew they'd not go on quite as easily as some socks, or they'd not keep their shape. That's just the way wool socks are. I treated them like tights and put them on in a similar way, putting all of the fabric by the toe and toes in first, rather than trying to put the whole foot in in one go. That might be worth a try for anyone struggling. They went on ok that way. They still need easing over in some areas, but like I said, with wool socks either they're snug and take a bit more effort to get on, or they're baggy and move around a lot. It's personal preference which of those fits you prefer, but as I'm wearing them under footwear, I want them to fit well, so they don't rub or feel uncomfortable when walking, so don't mind that they take a few seconds more to put on than thin cotton socks.

I love these socks, I have two now they are comfy, warm and wash well.
I have the blue and want the green and black/yellow. They look like handmade Nordic socks. They are super warm and comfy. The ribbed top it elasticated and just right for my average calves! I ordered the large which is perfect for my size 41 feet. I agree that there could be more give to get them on, though. I’ve washed them with wool wash in the machine and they came out fine, but will hand wash with my cashmere in future to ensure they last and don’t felt. Great not having any nylon, acrylic or synthetics that take 1m years to degrade! Love them <3
These socks are super comfy, warm with a cool design. I think they will be quite robust but I have not worn or washed yet.
