Material
Made with 100% Sheepskin: There's a reason why we use sheepskin so much. This incredible material balances form with function, offering a chic look with lightweight insulation in the winter and temperature regulation when the warmer months roll around.
For these reasons and many more, we guarantee you'll be turning to this stylish investment time after time!
Please be aware that as sheepskin is a natural product, variances within the colour and texture of these products is to be expected.
Size & Fit
When trying on your footwear for the first time, it may feel very tight across your toes and instep. This is nothing to worry about, as within an hour or so of wearing, the boots or slippers will loosen off as the wool starts to bed down and mould to your feet. So do not order a size bigger than you usually wear, otherwise they will end up too big for you. If you know you are a half size – then we recommend buying the size down unless you regularly buy up a half size.
Care
Washing Instructions
Sponge Clean With Wool Detergent
For styles which are sponge clean only, we recommend using our Celtic Wool Wash in cold water to gently remove any dirt or stains on your boots. Always allow to dry naturally, away from all artificial heat sources.
Do not: Soak. Use fabric conditioner. Use artificial heat to dry or dry in direct sunlight.
Ratings & reviews
Write a reviewI had been eyeing these for some time then finally decided to buy. I love them and don’t want to take them off. Very comfortable and a perfect fit
These boots are fabulous so comfie and smart, have received many compliments on them too!
I purchased this pair of blue shortie boots 2 weeks ago. They are very comfortable and nice, good quality too. I have purchased a lot of items from Celtic in the past and have used them for a very long time.
Wonderful pair of short boots, I already have the calf length in blue iris but it is a little too early for long boots ,but these are very comfortable for the autumn
Beautiful boots. Bought the blue aviator shorties in size 5. I usually take size 6. Size 5 were hard to get into and I had to send back and exchange for size 6. Very pleased with these comfortable, cosy boots - love the colour and they also look good. They were complimented on by a student from Switzerland the first week of wear.
Absolutely beautiful! The most expensive footwear I've ever owned but worth every single penny. Living in Wales I couldn't understand why I would buy Australian sheep boots and was overjoyed to find these. I am a large women and often have to go up a size in footwear but I took the advice and they are perfect! So very very happy. Thank you Celtic & Co.
I use these Shortie Aviators as slippers mainly but have to go into the garden a few times a day on flagstone path and find them ideal as ‘slippers’ rated for outside use are not robust enough. Didn’t realise they were Unisex (still allowed to use that word?) but a size 9 in this boot is just fine.
Lovely boots, which keep my feet really warm. The colour is ideal to wear with denim. The zip is essential for me to avoid the struggle with getting something on, as one knee has a problem at the moment. The only thing is that the cuff on one boot has stretched more than on the other; however at the moment there is no-one to notice!
I love my new Aviator boots. Iris blue colour is perfect and goes with Everything. Soft warm and fluffy, perfect for after a chilly winter dip in sea. Arrived quickly. They are fabulous.
This is the first pair of Celtic boots I have had . My shoe size is 4 and a half . I paid attention to the recommendations and ordered down a size and bought a 4 . The boots were very snug but I persevered wearing them around the house for a couple of hours to let the sheepskin adapt to my feet . Unfortunately after several days wear the boots are still on the tight side . I didn’t feel I could return them as I have been wearing them . They are beautifully warm but I am disappointed with the sizing .

Dear Avril. Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear these boots are still on the tight side. We do advise the boots should feel snug when first tried, and advise that within 30 minutes to an hour, the sheepskin should bed around your feet and feel comfortable. The sheepskin does tend to continue to bed a little with continuous wear. Please feel free to contact our Customer Service team for sizing advice. Kind regards, Celtic & Co.
