Viscose
Unbeatably soft and luxuriously lightweight, this semi-synthetic plant based fabric deriving from wood cellulose is a new season favourite thanks to its flattering finish. Breathable and cool to wear, a touch of viscose is the perfect light layer for the upcoming warmer months.
HERITAGE
Standing as one of cotton's most formidable competitors, viscose is often used as a plant-based substitute for silk due to its breathable, lightweight properties and luxurious, shiny appeal.
The semi-synthetic fabric starts out as a plant material and is made from processed wood cellulose deriving from trees such as bamboo and eucalyptus. Both plants require very little water, little to no fertilizer, and are self-regenerative requiring no need to replant after harvesting.
PROPERTIES
Admired for its lightweight and sumptuous finish, viscose is naturally absorbent and breathable with moisture-repelling properties. Flattering and cool to wear, this innovative material injects a luxurious touch into our viscose designs.
Despite its light weight and ultra-soft texture, viscose is highly durable when dry and retains body heat well. On top of this, it is non-allergenic and hygienic to wear. Admire the smooth yet robust characteristics in our new viscose range.
